FACING PROBLEMS AT FACEBOOK

In the news: Owners of rival social networking site sue to shut down Facebook.com - International Herald Tribune.

Do you think Facebook is worth the hype? [Editor's comment: I hope it will not end up as a version of That '70s Show... (Via InstaPundit.)]

TEACHING SHARIA IN STOCKHOLM

If you have (40) questions on Islam, you better take a yellow bus and attend Al-Mustafa school in Stockholm. The president of the school and part owner of A.S.I.P. Skola AB ("ASIP School Inc."), Kamal Moubadder, is a Shia Muslim who defends the Sharia laws.

Do you know what happened between 1982 - 1985 in the hilly region of Jabal Amel in southern Lebanon? Kamal Moubadder has written a book with the title, Poetry of resistance in Mt. Amil 1982-1985. [Editor's comment: Could the title has something to do with the fact that mount Amil is the center for Shia Muslims in southern Lebanon?]

I celebrated Independence Day at Blue Chip Café with some colleagues. We ate hot dogs, baked beans, salsa dip, etc. and drank a couple of beers, e.g. Samuel Adams Boston Lager and Red Seal Ale.

[Editor's note: Will you watch the fireworks at your place?]

[Editor's note: Who is your favorite historical person?]
