"RECLAIM THE CITY" OF GOTHENBURG?

On Saturday, a gang of about 400 kids had a "street party" (note the red flags) in an area of Gothenburg called �rgryte. Their mission is to "reclaim the city" from the rich people. It is a new name of an old idea: egalitarianism. Look what happened during the summer of 2001.

The group "Reclaim the Streets" is listed by FBI as a "threat of terrorism to the United States."

The race for governor of California is getting "dirty". An interview ("Oui" magazine, August, 1977) with Arnold Schwarzenegger is the featured document on the Smoking Gun web site. You could follow the race on the California Insider Weblog and the Kausfiles.

ATTACK BY AN ANIMAL "RIGHTS" GROUP

From SF Gate: "A group calling itself "the Revolutionary Cells" has issued a statement claiming responsibility for two explosions Thursday at Chiron Corp. headquarters in Emeryville."

How convenient that an animal "rights" group is taking the name "revolutionary cells." They are really showing their true (blood red) colors...

Daniel Pipes has been recess appointed to the board of the U.S. Institute of Peace.

Marwan al-Kabalan, research student at the University of Manchester, is calling Daniel Pipes a "warmonger." I say: Daniel Pipes, more power to you!

NUCLEAR THREAT BY THE AXIS OF EVIL

I am worried to hear that the International Atomic Energy Agency has found enriched uranium at a nuclear plant near Tehran.

Jane's Defense Weekly reports that Iran has been importing uranium from communist China since 1991 and that "Western intelligence officials said the presence of metallic uranium is proof of Iran's military nuclear intention as metallic uranium is not normally used in commercial atomic programmes."

Iran has placed an order ($800 million) with a Russian company called AtomStroiExport, for the construction of the Bushehr nuclear power plant. So, isn't a bit strange that Russia and China are involved in a talk regarding North Korea's nuclear program?

JUSTICE VERSUS THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Roy Moore, Chief Justice of the state of Alabama, wants to keep a stone monument of the Ten Commandments at the Judicial building. Doesn't he understand that Church and State should be separated? The dogmatic rules of the Ten Commandments have nothing to do with the Constitution and U.S. law. How about giving Roy Moore the monument as a "farewell" gift? He could place it on his own property...
