Here is an excerpt from Kieron Gillen's article, First-Person Shooter BioShock Owes More to Ayn Rand Than Doom.

From the moment you arrive, you're plunged headfirst into an objectivist social experiment. Banners proclaim ALTRUISM IS THE SOURCE OF ALL EVIL, and perky advertisements preach the wonders of genetic modification. (Wired Magazine, issue 15.09, 08/21/07.)

[Editor's comment: It could be case that the game "owes more to Ayn Rand than Doom," but the question is if Ken Levine is a real supporter of Ayn Rand's philosophy, Objectivism.]
